MArketing and Communication / Development Specialist
The Institutes for Learning and Development are looking for an enthusiastic marketing, and communication/ development specialist, to join our dynamic, education focused team. The ideal candidate will be flexible, a self starter, have experience and drive as well as great ideas for new approaches and strategies. Please provide your resume as well as cover letter.
This part time role is for approximately 30 hours per week
*Assisting with marketing and communication of educational projects to increase awareness of and access to The Institutes’ wealth of resources
*Assisting with grant writing
*Writing newsletters and direct mail appeals
*Digital and print material development
*Organizing database and research data (analyze qualitative and quantitative data from previous SMARTS campaigns)
*Identifying foundations and individuals to increase donor base
*Phone outreach to potential donors for fundraising and conference support
- Event Management
- Assisting with annual conferences and marketing events
- Updating the database.
*Support Marketing Director with daily administrative tasks
