We're looking for a Chinese Marketing Intern for a subscription snack startup that's expanding into the Chinese market. Candidates should have an interest in digital and content marketing but with a focus on platforms used by Chinese consumers. This position is flexible in terms of location and schedule.


- Translating blog posts from English to Chinese as well as writing new posts specific to the Chinese audience

- Track analytical performance of digital marketing efforts and report ROI

- Managing company's social communities on WeChat and Weibo

- Email marketing 

- Content marketing

- Band ambassadorship


- Accountability

- Go-getter attitude

- Chinese (Mandarin) proficiency

- Familiarity with Chinese consumer mentality

- Clear understanding of WeChat and Weibo community and marketing

- Analytical thinking ability

- Blogging / Content marketing

- An understanding of how to use online metrics tools to optimize marketing performance (a basic understand is fine, as we will teach you more skills)

Nice to haves:

- A high interest in Japanese culture

- Knowledge of PR tactics in China
