The Family Focused Treatment Association (FFTA) is seeking a part-time Communications Assistant.
FFTA is a national non-profit membership organization dedicated to developing, promoting and supporting treatment foster care. Throughout the year, FFTA hosts two professional events, manages communications with 450+ member agencies, and maintains committee based activities in line with our mission. Join our tight-knit team to support the ongoing work of the association.
Responsibilities: The Communications Assistant's responsibilities will include database management, social media and administrative tasks. The position will initially be very clerical, however applicants with relevant skills who show strong initiative will have the opportunity to take on more responsibility in communications and social media.
Hours:Communications Assistant should be available to work 20+ hours per week during business hours. Schedule will be flexible based on your availability. During the summer months, full-time hours are available.
Qualifications:Must possess strong clerical skills and knowledge of Microsoft office.(i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).Ability to conduct accurate data entryStrong written and verbal communication skills.This job is typically a great fit for undergraduate or graduate students seeking administrative, non-profit, events or communications experience.Cover letter required to be considered for this position.
