Job Summary


Accessible HR is seeking an Business Administration Intern to fill a role with one of our clients. The position is a Houston based role within the Oil & Gas Industry. Our client is a young company with a wonderful company culture and lots of room to learn and grow.


Responsibilities and Duties


About the role:


This role will be responsible for maintaining all office duties and assisting the team. This will be a part-time internship with the possibility of becoming a full-time position after a probationary period.


Job Description:

  • Organizing/scheduling appointments
  • Maintaining appropriate filing systems
  • Creating PowerPoint presentations
  • Conducting research as needed
  • Completing data entry
  • Answering phones/directing calls
  • Recording meeting minutes
  • Ordering office supplies
  • Other general office duties as requested
  • Exposure to accounting
  • Exposure to finance
  • Exposure to business operations

Qualifications and Skills


Requirements:

  • MUST be in a Bachelor's of Business, Accounting or Finance program
  • Punctuality is a must!
  • Always eager to help
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Must have advanced Excel skills, for example - be able to set up and use pivot tables
  • Entry-level finance, accounting, business administration experience
