We are looking for a qualified Sales Support Specialist to join our team.



You will provide support to sales representatives and respond to customer and prospect queries. Our ideal candidate is an experienced professional with knowledge of sales and customer service best practices. You should also be able to interpret sales metrics and be goal-oriented. 

We expect you to perform well in a team environment and have exceptional people skills. Ultimately, you should be able to contribute to creating and maintaining good customer relationships and ensuring smooth sales team operations.


Responsibilities


  • Work with sales team and customers via phone, email, and other methods to create support for lead generation activities, regional marketing campaigns, CRM support and invoicing/trials’ needs that drive usage of Matific.com solutions
  • Conduct lead generation campaigns to assist sales team in their prospecting efforts
  • Provide troubleshooting assistance for customer orders, account statuses and relevant problems
  • Provide data and guides to help the sales team regarding market trends
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators and sales metrics for sales management
  • Manage sales tracking tools and report on important information to assist sales personnel
  • Liaise with sales management to develop specific sales strategies to ensure growth
  • Stay up-to-date with new product and feature launches and ensure sales team is notified
  • Review pending orders and specific customers’ requests to ensure excellent customer service and customer experience
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities
  • Help gather and analyze consumer behavior data (e.g. web traffic and rankings)
  • Create reports on marketing and sales metrics, like conversion rates
  • Assist with organizing promotional events
  • Keep organized records of marketing metrics and results of past campaigns
  • Prepare regular sales forecasting reports
  • Monitor competitors’ marketing activities
  • Input sales leads into CRM tool
  • Use scripts to provide information about product’s features, prices etc. and present their benefits
  • Ask pertinent questions to understand the customer’s requirements 
  • Persuade the customer to talk to sales by demonstrating how Matific meets their needs
  • Record the customer’s personal information accurately in CRM
  • Go the “extra mile” to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales
  • Keep records of calls and sales and record useful information in CRM
  • Suggest sales process improvements

REQUIREMENTS


  • Proven work experience as a Sales Support Specialist or Sales Support Associate
  • College degree required
  • Thorough understanding of technology, especially as it relates to education and instruction
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (less than 5% of time)
  • Ability to work independently as well as with a cross-departmental team
  • Hands on experience with ERP and CRM systems
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel
  • In-depth understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
  • Excellent communication skills
