We are looking for a Social Media Manager who can enhance our brand and build strong online communities through our various social media platforms. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and administering social media content that is designed to engage users and create an interactive relationship between consumers and the company. The successful candidate will also be required to collect and review social media data to develop more effective campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the team to develop social media campaigns that help to achieve corporate marketing goals
  • Update YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn accounts with current and relevant photos, video, or other content
  • Develop and implement strategies for growing social media platform by increasing number of followers and interactions
  • Create and execute social media advertising campaigns to increase sales
  • If local, attend professional networking events to capture shareable moments and promote the brand
  • Reach out to organizations who may be interested in workshops or motivational speaking
  • Develop monthly reports on emerging social media trends that will be submitted to the management team

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
  • Strong professional drive and desire to grow sales
  • 1+ years’ experience in social media management
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of the Facebook and Instagram advertising platform is required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft applications and basic photo/video-editing software
  • Experience with Photoshop and InDesign a plus
