Who are we?
The Graide Network is a web-based platform that connects K-12 teachers with remote, on-demand teaching assistants to grade and provide thorough feedback on student work online. “Graiders” are highly qualified, vetted undergraduate and graduate students from colleges across the country who are aspiring teachers. They are trained to provide effective feedback and are passionate about helping students and teachers. Their support unlocks the tremendous power of feedback to engage students, improve learning outcomes, and put data at educators’ fingertips like never before.
Graiders join a community of educators working to transform what it means to be a K-12 teacher. People are at the center of our growing model and we want you to engage with us, share your ideas, and be part of our network for life. This is not your average job. This is the chance to be a part of a cutting-edge ed tech startup and to help us impact student learning at scale.
We are seeking undergraduate college of education students OR any student who is passionate about education equality and interested in the teaching profession to serve as a virtual teaching assistant or Graider. This is a 100% remote, part-time opportunity - all you need is a laptop and wifi. As a Graider, you can choose which assignments, when, and how often you pick up paid assignments. Plus, for aspiring teachers, it’s a chance to gain practical and relevant experience, work directly with rubrics and real student work, receive frequent feedback from veteran teachers, and build your knowledge of curriculum, grade level expectations, and learning patterns.
